- It was the first project in the UK to use the EcoCocon system.

- The project was a winner of Passivhaus Trust Awards 2018 in the Small Projects category.

- Houses were developed in Collective Private Development (future neighbours develop their own housing project from bottom-up). Idea was to develop modern, 'Bauhaus"-style houses, with use of historical building materials.
- Houses are zero-energy, all-electric and 'breathing'. Heating and hot water by electrical heat-pump. This and all other (electrical) household gear compensated by 25 solar panels.
