Puupäivä brings together wood construction professionals, industry representatives, and municipal and construction sector decision-makers. The 30th edition is the first to run for a day and a half: an anniversary seminar on Wednesday afternoon, then the main event on Thursday, with parallel seminars, an exhibition area of over 30 exhibitors, and the Wood Award presentation.
The programme is primarily in Finnish, with some presentations in English.
EcoCocon’s Chief Business Development Officer Anna Hjelt will be attending rather than exhibiting. She is there for conversations with architects, developers, contractors and municipal decision-makers about where prefabricated straw wall panels sit alongside timber construction.
