What will the Accelerator Fund mean for Danish construction? Bygherreforeningen brings clients, contractors, advisers and manufacturers together to hear how the fund is intended to make it easier to test and apply new solutions, biogenic building materials and technologies with a lower climate footprint and lower resource consumption. The programme covers the fund’s mechanisms, three pilot projects, and industry perspectives on implementation, with speakers from Bygherreforeningen, the Danish Technological Institute, COWI, A. Enggaard, Søren Jensen and HusCompagniet. Access to the stands at Hal 11 follows the conference.
Lars Keller of EcoCocon Denmark will be at the stands afterwards. Biogenic materials are precisely the territory the fund is aimed at, and the EcoCocon Straw Wall System is already built at that scale. In Sweden, ETC Hyllie in Malmö is, at 12 storeys, the tallest residential building to use the system. Denmark has Søbredden, Fælledby and Trandershøje; in the Netherlands, the straw wall system was used in the Logistic Centre West, and social housing at Rustenburgerstraat.
